Opera TV Store Guidelines
|
|
The Opera TV Store (“OTS”) is a solution optimized for the devices of Opera’s hardware and software distribution partners (“Distributors”). OTS offers users of Distributors’ devices an interface for discovering and linking to web services (“Services”) hosted and offered by third-party content service providers (“CSPs”). CSPs which wish to offer their Services through OTS must provide the following digital versions of their Brand Assets to Opera via the OTS Submission Portal:
- Icons (128x128 and 512 x512 JPEG or PNG image files);
- Screenshot (1280×720px or larger JPEG image file); and
- Thumbnail (480x270 JPEG image file).
Guidelines for Use of CSP Brand Assets
This section is a general statement regarding the proposed use and placement of CSP Brand Assets in connection with the marketing and promotion of the OTS on a particular device.
CSP Brand Assets may be included in the OTS user interface and product sheets in a manner consistent with other CSP Brand Assets displayed in such interface.
To promote the availability of CSP’s Services via the OTS and on the Distributor’s device, CSP Brand Assets may be included in device product sheets, user manuals and descriptions in close proximity to the phrase “Available in the Opera TV Store”.
Only the CSP Brand Assets provided by the CSP should be used. Other versions of such Brand Assets will not be used without the express permission of the relevant CSP.
For consistency or due to space or size limitations, however, certain nonsubstantive modifications to a CSP Brand Asset may be made, consistent with the display of all other CSP Brand Assets including:
- Adding a uniform outline, border or background.
- Adjusting the scale of the Brand Asset, provided each element retains its original placement and proportionality.
- Adding lighting or other effects.
- Alternating between color and black/white versions of a Brand Asset (no grayscale).
