Top Indian mobile OEMs choose Opera Mini for exclusive distribution on upcoming Android phones, phablets and tablets
Opera Software has signed up with seven Indian mobile OEMs to preinstall the Opera Mini mobile web browser on all the manufacturers’ upcoming handsets, phablets and tablets based on the Android mobile OS. Opera Mini will be the exclusive third-party browser to be preinstalled on all Android devices by Celkon, Karbonn, Lava and Intex. Opera Mini will also be preinstalled on select Android devices by Fly and Zen, as well as on HCL ME tablets.

Partnership integrates TIMWE’s mobile payment system into Opera Payment Exchange (OPX)
TIMWE, a multinational company that operates in the mobile marketing, mobile entertainment and mobile money areas, and Opera Commerce, a fully-owned subsidiary of Opera Software, today announced an agreement that enables easy and safe mobile payments for users of TIMWE services and the Opera Mini mobile browser in more than 75 countries worldwide.
