Opera Software is looking for summer interns to join our teams and help us make our browser even better.

The interns in Opera Software work side by side with our Developers and QA Engineers on tasks related to all our browsers. All students work in teams, and they are responsible for implementing tasks from start to completion. The interns also cooperate closely with their assigned mentors.

Responsibilities

• Browser extension development
• Exploratory testing
• Test automation/authoring
• Internal tools development
• Second-line bug analysis

Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages
• Strong interest in, and knowledge of, the Web
• Ability to spend minimum 2 months with Opera this summer
• Ability to bring new ideas to the table and think outside of the box
• Experience with self-run projects and proven self-direction / management skills
• Good working knowledge of English
• Outstanding knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• Good knowledge of C/C++ programming language
